Our office offers video visits as a convenient way to provide care remotely. To ensure your visit is safe, effective, and as productive as possible, please follow these guidelines:

  • The patient must be present for the visit. Video visits cannot proceed if the patient is unavailable.
  • Patients must be physically located in New York State at the time of a Video Visit.
  • Do not participate in a video visit while driving or riding in a moving vehicle.
  • Use a strong broadband or Wi-Fi connection whenever possible, Cellular connections may not provide a reliable connection for the video visit.
  • Choose a quiet, private, and well-lit location where you can comfortably participate in your visit.
  • Position your camera appropriately so that you and your provider can clearly see each other throughout the visit.
  • Check your device and connection before the appointment to ensure your camera and microphone are working properly.
  • Having trouble with your video visit link? Please contact our office for assistance. We can help troubleshoot the issue or resend the link if needed.

These simple steps help our providers perform an appropriate visual assessment and ensure that your concerns can be addressed as safely and effectively as possible.

Thank you for helping us make your video visit a successful part of your care.
